When water fed pole window cleaning was 1st introduced there were a limited amount suppliers of equipment, most of the equipment available was heavy and fatiqued the operator quickly on the higher level cleaning, This reduced the end results
New technology has allowed us to invest in water fed poles that are less than half the weight of the original poles giving superior cleaning results
The poles that were 1st availble were not just heavy but were a long length when closed, up to 12ft, this made putting the pole up very tricky, This was carried out by extending the pole on the ground and then pushing the pole up like a scaffold pole meaning 2 people were needed to operate this pole and lowering the pole is also tricky as this had to be carried out but lowering it down the building which means you needed a fair amount of room to lower it, not ideal in a busy high street, The new generation poles are higher when extended with only 6ft sections so can be put up by one operator and stored in smaller vans
